I know everyone isn't a fan of framing and background manipulation in 3D photos, many people just like to see the image as it was taken . . . so I'm very glad you and many others also enjoy my type of 3D styling as well Ted.

The double framing and image cropping in this one really helped with the 3D effect, thanks Ted.

Thank you Ted, one example where simple works better, and thanks to Stereomasken for helping mask the curved framing around the subject more quickly and more precisely than if I just had used Photoshop alone.

Thank you Ted . . . I thought such a beautifully colored beetle needed a rainbow frame, though I'm sorry I didn't take the extra time to Photoshop out that horrible cut on my finger so others wouldn't have to see it . . . but the 3D effect is nice lol. ;)

Thank you very much Ted. It definitely takes time and a lot of practice in creating elaborate 3D framing that is eye pleasing as well as violation free, but with the program Stereomasken available to help assist in creating the the more detailed framing, and with the willingness to learn to use it well, it makes the task of creating the 3D images much easier while drastically cutting down the time it takes as well.

I use Photoshop CS5 to do the more simple 3D framing, and use a free program called Stereomasken for the more elaborate and difficult framing.

I love the stereo frame on this one. Simple but beautiful.

The colors of the frame and insect match so well. Beautiful and bright. But that crack in your skin ... ouch! ... that looks painful!

For someone who has been involved in 3D for such a short time (about a year longer than myself) the sheer number of amazing images you've produced, complete with expertly executed stereo frames, is truly astounding.

Sometimes the processing works out very well, other times it doesn't, but nevertheless it's always fun creating new 3D images and experimenting with all the various framing possibilities.

It's been unfortunate that I haven't been nearly as active over the last few months in creating new images either, wishing I had more time because I have so many image pairs still waiting to be processed. :(

You're one of my favorite stereo photographers / stereo framing artists, ever since I found your Flickr gallery. The quality and number of images you've created in just a few short years puts me to shame. I just found Phereo recently. Nice to see you're on here too.
