Could be. I don't know the names of many flowers, but my wife just told me she thinks they are begonias. Which might invite a pun when they stopped blooming I guess, involving "begone".....

They look kind of like azaleas - but I'm no horticulturalist. They bloom in early spring, and then poof - no more flahrs!
