Thanks Scott. I liked doing abstracts back in my conventional photography days, but 3d seems to make it harder to compose that way because you get so much realism. Edge-detect filtering reduces subjects to esssential shapes, which I guess helps a little.
Timo - I'm 6'2", not freaky tall. I don't remember for sure but there may have been some stairs leading down to this walkway. Otherwise it does seem odd to have a perspective from at or above the top of the lamp posts. I don't travel with stilts. :-)
When I look closer, I think it wouldn't work on a large screen because of the high deviation, but most of us view Phereo on the computer screen where you can get away with it.
